Well...shit...I tried deleting a couple posts out of the old order tracking thread and I apparently nuked the whole damn thread!

So my car that was built 2 weeks ago and was on my dealers website just disappeared? Wtf does that mean. No way that it shipped still at 3800

I wouldn’t sweat it, the dealer ads are generated by a program that auto populates. I would bet it’s just adding and removing cars in a weird way since GMs system is so shit at tracking cars.

Mine was sitting since 1/26 and the paint was dirty, but I don't believe it was damaged.. Currently being decontaminated and ceramic coated. As mentioned, they are mostly wrapped in plastic.

Agree with this. Mine will go straight to paint correction and then getting STEK Satin Clear Wrap on the Black Raven body color and clear wrap on all the gloss black accents.

My sales person just called and informed me my car has been built and invoiced! Vin 81-600. Now the waiting game begins, it at status 3800. I ordered it in early July.

Autmotive News is reporting that Lansing Grand River plant will be down next week due to lack of parts. This explains all the builds that were just pushed out one week.

Just looked it up and it said production to be resumed 4/11 and not chip related. I'd much rather the production be on hold, produced when all parts are truly available and then shipped out ASAP once built than the car be built and parked on a storage lot waiting for X parts at a later date.
