So based in this, my build tpw 11/22 will be a my 2023?
Only if the 22 represents the year. Anything built before 7/11/2022 will still be a '22. Rob correct me if I'm wrong.

If you have a TPW date of 11/22, that means the week of 11-22-2021....

Drozboys, have you submitted your order yet for your build ? Just curious. I submitted my order 2 weeks ago, still in 1100 status and trying to figure out if my car will get built in 2022 or not.

I put my order in back in may…. I was at 1100 until my dealer got an allocation , order was accepted end of may where i went to 3000 status. I am currently at 3100 status with a 11/22 tpw which based on what rob posted from gm , my car will be a my 2023…. At this point if you look at the tracker, it grows everyday with most folks at 1100 status awaiting allocations to their dealers

I think you need to reread the first post.

"It looks like the final week of 2022 Cadillac CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing production will be 7/7/2022... 2023 Blackwing production will commence on 7/11/2022".

If your TPW is 11/22/2021, that's going to be a MY 2022 car unless they push it by more than 7 months.

Rough day you are correct sir

Given that I just placed my order at the end of October, and I'm third in line (all 1100 status) at my small-volume dealer, I'm taking note of May 5th. If I don't get an allocation by then I'll assume my order has to switch over to a 2023 MY!

Your better off than I, I am 14th in line at my dealer, although they are high volume. Not sure If I'll ever get an allocation.

Rob.
Thank you for this schedule update. GREAT to see these cars are IN the GM plan for 2023. Since I wasn't able to get a Dark Emerald Frost ordered, and I'm not thrilled about the 2022 color palette...I'm simply going to schedule myself for a visit to my Cadillac dealer in mid-May 2022.

I look forward to the posts / updates that the group provides in the meantime.

Does this mean 2023 is the final year?
Not necessarily. Take this with a grain of salt, but there was a Blackwing test drive event at the Monterey GP in September. They had 4 of each BW model there for test drives by the general public, and I drove both! While waiting in line, I asked one of the higher up Cadillac reps--who wasn't a just contractor that typically works those events--about general BW availability and why Cadillac was doing these test drives, assuming they were basically sold out. In a nutshell, he said that Cadillac was planning at least 3-4 model years for each car, and production rates are expected to increase after the slow run of the initial 250/250 (and once the supply chain starts to recover). After that, I felt like it would be worth it to place an order, expecting a long wait time, but hoping to snag one deep into next year.
