Tap out Tuning order question

For me….short answer is yes. I did the blue belt with the JB4 and the oversized air intake and a muffler delete (kept the valves). Now the car is just what I was looking for, louder with just the right amount of added hp. I ran just the white belt for quite a while it is a step up but the really noticeable difference was with the throttle body and the oversized air intake. The car puts a smile on my face every time I drive it!
XTRMLN, I read you have the Blue Belt package on your car. From Tapout Tuning in Ohio? I am considering this package. You are satisfied then? Do you have a check engine light on now all the time? I read in this feed, issues with the spark plugs. Do you have to swap them out periodically??
 
Schottzy, yes I have the blue belt plus the oversized CF intake. I did catless DP’s and about 10% of the time I get a check engine light on cold startup. Super easy fix with the DTC Assasin with a push of a button. I have not had any issues with spark plugs this far though I do swap them out pretty regularly at around 5k miles. I am very satisfied with my setup now. Really made the car what I wanted it to be. She is always a hoot to drive now.
 
A bit of a problem with mods that cause cel that needs to be cleared...Come emission testing time, it might be a problem getting all the sensors to ready between the reset and testing. I know some states allow one sensor to be not ready.

Thank you for your response. Glad you are enjoying your ride. They only offer catted downpipes now due to regulations. Is changing out the spark plugs fairly easy (you do it yourself then)?

I couldn’t tell you on ease of removal. I have my mechanic do it for me at oil changes.

Level #1 on the JB4 does nothing, you are running stock.
Level #2 requires 91 octane
Level #3 requires 93 octane
Level #4 requires E85, or 93 octane or better.
If you add the airbox lid with larger MAF tubes you'll get a Level #5 custom tune to adjust things for that extra airflow.

Order a 54 gal drum of Sunoco EVO 10 105 Octane Race Fuel for about $750, plus about $100 for shipping and you're at $850 for 54 gal, or $15/gal.

10 gallons of your 91 octane pump gas plus 2 gallons of this ,gives you the 93 octane not otherwise available to you. And much more if you want it! This is Sunoco's highest octane unleaded product.

Upgraded exhaust might help some, but is not needed. You will feel big gains without it.

@Kawman thanks for the info. I have the JB4 and on map 2 and it feels good. I see the increased boost. I am eyeing a black Friday deal for the intake lid. Hint hint @WONT TAP
