With the upcoming ordering for 23MY Escalade V-Series, LYRIQ, CT4 Blackwing and CT5 Blackwing, there have been some questions regarding eligibility for GM Vehicle Purchase Program (VPP) discounts.

The 23MY Escalade V-Series, LYRIQ, CT4 Blackwing and CT5 Blackwing will not be eligible for Vehicle Purchase Programs, including but not limited to GMS (employee), GDS (dealership employee), GEX (executive referral) or Supplier programs. Please ensure that you are checking vehicle incentive eligibility in Incentive Offer Management (IOM) or VIN Incentive Lookup (VIL).

Program eligibility will be re-evaluated for the 2024 model year and beyond.

Any chance this is to also help deter employees of a dealership from getting first dibs on those special cars? At least if they get first dibs, they won't get a discount on top of it all.

I'd say it's likely just due to current market conditions. No reason for GM to offer up money when people feel lucky to get MSRP
