Blackwing Order Tracking - 2022 Model Year

Well...shit...I tried deleting a couple posts out of the old order tracking thread and I apparently nuked the whole damn thread! :r :hb

NOTE: the order tracking system is for U.S. based orders only. I can only view orders placed with dealers in the U.S.
NOTE: I will only track ONE order per member. If you have orders in at multiple dealers, pick one...

You can now call Cadillac Customer Care at 1-800-333-4223 to get your "BLACKWING" logo for the rear decklid. Call and give your VIN #.

I called and the woman who opened my case said badges will ship by end of year but they are still unsure whether they will be sent to home address on file or to the local dealer.

I've received 4 emails now from Cadillac to get the Blackwing badges for both of my cars and was told the badges will arrive by the end of the year.
 
I have never received an email from cadillac telling me that I have badges... VClub sent me an email... but never cadillac
 
I finally received the blackwing badge email, and called, and was greeted with an elated support rep, stating, "I get to live vicariously through customers like you." She needs to buy/ride in one, and stop living vicariously, IMO. GIDDYUP! My Smart Driver score for the day so far is 20, and I really thought I was taking it easy...

They likely have not worked out the warranty implications yet, so cannot say for certain.
 
Or they want the dealer to offer to install them so they get an opportunity to sell some other unnecessary service. They can install mine, it goes in my desk drawer.
 
Some one's been reading this thread or Cadillac has a few dealers who truly understand the problem. Tonight I received a call from my dealer to check in with me. He just wanted to let me know my status. He wasn't sure why I was flagged as delayed but at least I wasn't flagged MP like his other customers. Said he would be checking in at least once a week until delivery.

I learned nothing I didn't already know but at least I'm being valued as a customer.

And the rodeo continues....

When mine was built in early March , it was delayed due to the seat blower motors being unavailable. Cadillac has once again announced that the supplier has not been delivering . They only say that CT5's and CT5v's are delayed. As I understood their notices, any parts that are shared , the Blackwings are getting first dibs.
Also I don't really feel the ventilated seat working on the driverside like I did on the day of delivery. Tomorrow I will do a butt check on the passenger seat to confirm my suspicions. My Kia Telluride has "real" air conditioned seats. After reading all the bad news coming from Cadillac, I think there are going to be ALOT of disappointed people who ordered a 2022 , then had to reorder a 2023 and probably won't receive a car.....unless they keep going into 2024 MY.

I'm curious if you received an email about Spring Mountain or, any other email from Cadillac since you signed on the dotted line.
 
reverse production order? I was number 17 of the manuals produced lol
Quick Question: Am I allowed to blow this up and frame it in my garage upon delivery of my car? Rob are there rules against this? Does GM have copyright already? Thanks so much Mr. Burns!

No, not that I recall about spring mountain. I did get a welcome email after I got the car.

No worries. Just call about the badges (8332334227) and Spring Mountain too (7757276363)!!

We'll miss you tomorrow...lucky I have a light weekend of kids' activities.

Yup, wasn't happy with the 7k upcharge but at least I got one built. 15 months and counting..... LOL

Just ordered my "badge". Representative said that they will be mailed by early December. She also asked if I was a member of Cadillac V-club. I'm not ...but now I will check it out. My arrangements are made for my December Las Vegas V-Academy trip . Hopefully, Vegas doesn't run out of water by then.
