It's always a concern to me if they use the right oil. Two times ago, there was some confusion about the "right oil". The service guy came out later and apologized and said he's new and not overly familiar with Blackwings. Last time we were good. No issues, no questions.
I always Google the correct part number before I go (as GM changes P/N's often) and double check before I leave. I figure if the P/N is right, it's on them if something happens. I like to ass-u-me the tech uses the right stuff. I mean, what's he care? He gets paid either way. I even thought about going to the local Chevy store to see if they have a "Corvette" guy and if they'd change it.
