Sounds like an insurance claim waiting to happen. I would just rent or borrow someone else's car than put a roof rack or tow hitch. Or give up biking.

Yeah I wouldn't trust my expensive bikes on top of my even more expensive car using suction cups. But that's the only option I've been able to find. GM even has it as an accessory on some site. I'd much rather Thule make a kit to firmly attach but either there just aren't enough CTs made to make it worthwhile or it just isn't feasible. Roof mount points are the one feature I miss from my old BMW.

U-Haul make good hitches. I installed one on my wife’s Mazda. It is well made and was decently designed such that it was a fairly easy install. They will make one for any car if they can get some time with the car to be able to do the design.
