I used to use oil extractor on my older bmws which has a dipstick. Anybody tried it on CT4v BW?

I haven't used one. Would think that it couldn't extract as much of the old oil as conventional remove the oil plug can. Could be wrong.

If you're doing your own change, I presume you have the space, tools, and to and ability to dispose of the oil, down the storm drain of course. Extracting oil from the top is the same as the Fumoto valve, I don't get the point of either. I don't have a 4, but the 5 requires you to get under the car to change the filter, so ramps regardless.

I know a lot of people who used them for cars with cartridge filters on the top of the engine. It's nice not to have to mess with a drain plug and all that mess, so I get the appeal. The LF4 has a filter on the bottom so as mentioned previously, you're still having to get it in the air for the filter.
