CT4-V PF63A oil filter

Got an oil change at my dealer today.
They used
GM Part # 19363567
AC Part # PF63A which I questioned. In the parts catalog it clearly says it fits. Smaller size, metal core. Parts guy said they use them when PF63 is on back order or out of stock. Having done some reading looks like a popular Duramax filter.
I change oil twice a year (low miliage) so not worried about performance. Just FYI.

Looks like this is relate to First Brands going out of business. PF63 filters were made by them and now are NLA. And AC Delco is not taking dealer orders for them anymore. So now there is PF63A and PF63B for various applications.
