CT4-V BW Heated Seats and Steering Wheel Turn on By Themselves

Recently, my driver's side heated seat, and my steering wheel turn on by themselves when I start my 2022 CT4-V BW 6MT. It's happened about 4 times in the past week. Outside temperatures have been between 75-85 degrees. I did recently install the JB4 unit.`

I have stock seats. The only interior options I have are the moonroof, PDR, and performance steering wheel.

Anyone out there experience this?

You can turn off the automatic on, Its burried in one of the menu settings for climate.

Automatic heated seats and/ventilated seats are a setting. You can't adjust the threshold from what I've seen.

Basically if you don't want them on automatically then turn them off in the climate settings.

I think his point was that they are turning on when they shouldn't. Mine don't come on unless the outside temp is in the 50s. I live in MI as well, have it set to auto turn on and they haven't turned on since April. So yes, I'd say there is something up.

Odd. Did you try removing the JB4 and see if it persists? Or could be totally unrelated. You also might try toggling the settings for auto on or not.
