Welcome to the Cadillac V-Series Forums!

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

I finally got around to removing the swiss trax in my garage, cleaning out the floor and pressure washing the trax. Next year I’m going to hit them with the foam cannon before I use the pressure washer. I got them mostly clean, but there were still some small dirty spots that I want to remove in the spring. They wound up being easier to remove than I anticipated. Gotta love 65 degree weather in Chicago in November.

How are you liking the new front badge? Is that the one with the silver center?

Washed it! We had a rare 46 degree day here in the Chicago burbs so used the opp to wash all that salt off of it. Merry Christmas everyone.

Yeah those SD card tips are solid - learned that lesson the hard way with fake cards from Amazon that died on me after a few months.

Mine too :-(
I'm going to call On Star and suspend my service until April, too ! Between saving on comprehensive and On Star I should save almost a thousand bucks over the winter. Since I retired, I am getting smarter with where my money goes. Getting rid of Cablevision is next on my things to do list.

Called On Star earlier and suspended my service until April 28th 2026. I was paying $46.75 per month ($561 yr.). I didn't even ask for a discounted monthly price and the operator changed my payment plan to $37.51 per month (saving $110 p/yr). The new price starts when I call to reinstate in April. Something tells me that these operators will document that I wanted to cancel my service and they convinced me to stay and they get some kind of bonus from On Star. :cool!:

Finally got my winter wheels and tires put on. The delay has mostly been due to inability to lift the wheels into the car because of a recent and somewhat delayed hip replacement....combined with a dead battery (from not driving at all) and several attempts to get it recharged...which at some point eventually involved an unpleasant (4+ hour) wait at a dealership....argh etc. So anyway everything lined up...requiring a fully charged car and one of my sons to be visiting. But its finally done and I can drive myself to PT now...

PPF on the hood and bumper. Ceramic coated and de-badged.
