PSA Regarding Bayed / Shipping

When I go to Jack Cooper, it shows it hasn't moved. I contacted Cadillac yesterday and they said the car has been shipped to Arizona.1G6D25R61N0860046 , Order ZKWT2C . How is the Jack Cooper site updated? Can someone look into my vin? Thx in advance and appreciate all the support!

I wouldn't count on Jack Coopers site, It still shows my car there and I have it at the detailers now. Your car was one of them that went into the yard when mine did. I would check with your dealer asap and they can tell you where it is.

It's probably on a train which the Jack Cooper site doesn't track.

Jack Cooper doesn't track anything outside of their purview. This means if GM uses JC to move a car from the Lansing Grand River plant to a rail yard, that is as far as it will be tracked. If JC is responsible for the final mile, you will see another set of details that show final mile delivery. Here is an example of what I am talking about with my personal car:

The JC page for my car (built 8/18) still shows "pending" but from my dealer on 9/4: "No update on shipping yet but it looks like they are shipping the vehicles outside of General Motors normal shipping lanes (trains etc). We just had a CT4 Blackwing show up today that only showed shipped on the 2nd. It came by a regular transport truck and had a couple other CT4 Blackwings on it. I will let you know as soon as I hear anything new. As with before, please feel free to text me or call me on my cell "

Cadillac customer care just told me that there was significant congestion at the railyard pushing mine back to delayed and no ETA at this time.

Isn't the fact that it shows my dealer name as the Lansing ship yard a bad thing?

Or is that a standard intermediate step that indicates the car will ship sooner rather than later?
