Hi everybody. Help please: I cannot get the no lift shift feature on my 4BW. I made sure I’m on the correct rpm ( owners manual says 3000, but I tried 5000 as well). Gas is all the way to the floor. As soon as I clutch in the engine goes to redline and the shift unsettles the car.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

Are you shifting fast enough?? Mine works like a dream...

Try shifting at above 6,000 rpm and I think you'll like the result. :)

no lift works when you are in the upper range and when you are moving. Get out on the highway and give it the beans, then without lifting your foot off the gas, press the clutch in and shift... it will be your guardian angel.

Thanks for everybody's help! I tried to shift at 6K and it worked! Amazing feeling (that can get you into trouble).
I'm not sure why the owners manual (see attached pic) talks about 3K RPM????
