I was enjoying the symphony of the exhaust on my ride to drop the car off for PPF.
The thought occurred to me, is this sound actually legit, or is it piped into the cabin through the speakers?
I couldn't find any videos of the exhaust from the exterior.
Regardless, it sure is intoxicating!

it is legit sound, sorta. the sound system has noise canceling in it, but to bring out the exhaust note more they have a microphone that pics up engine noise and puts some back through the speakers. so some engine noise does come through the speakers, but it is not synthesized like most other cars. it is the actual noise through the microphone.
