I‘ve waited this long,( order was accepted by GM on 5/24 ), I just as soon wait until winter is over, but I know it will be delivered in the middle of a snow storm.

According to the Cadillac chat bot, my car has been produced. So I guess as Winston Churchill said, this isn’t the beginning of the end, but the end of the beginning.

Oh well, looking on the bright side, I guess I don’t have to worry about getting snow tires and wheels for this winter.

OK, now I feel like an official member, with the latest update to the order tracker, my TPW has been pushed back to 12/05, from 10/31. Let the fun begin.

I would like to also know if anyone is going with this tire rack setup. I talked with customer service there, and they guarantee it will fit. I’ve run the oz’s on my Bmw, and I like them. They also told me they have enough in stock for a few weeks.

Yea I did that, and at least I know now that my order has a TPW of 10/29. I also know that doesn’t guarantee that’s the build date, but at least it’s a starting point.

I would be happy with that timeframe,which would put my delivery around the middle to end of March. At least this way, I could forgo getting snow tires and wheels till next year.

It’s a 5 BW , Radiant Red Tintcoat. I had to drop the CF1, and CF2 packages in order to have the order go through. Of all the dealers I contacted, this was the only allocation for a manual, so I guess I can consider myself lucky to just have the order accepted by GM.

Yea, that’s what I figured. I was really pulling for this dealer to get an allocation, but I couldn’t take the chance waiting, as the salesman who I placed the order with said this would probably be the only allocation for a manual transmission he would get for the rest of the year.

I hope not, but I would be okay if it was delivered in March, as we’re supposed to have a bad winter here in the northeast. But as he said this would be his only 6sp mt allocation for the rest of the year, I wasn’t going to pass.
