Test drive?

I test drove a CT4 -V. I figured that was as close as I was gonna get. It left a good impression.

I second the test drive a standard V car to see if you are happy with the ergos and space. If the standard V impresses you, as it did me, you'll have nothing but more of everything you like. JMHO

I did this as well. The "standard" 4-V left a very good impression compared to the WRX STI I owned at the time. Felt just as fast, but way more refined. And the A10 was not too shabby.

While trading in that same STI a few months later, I got to sit in a pre-owned 5BW. Manual, with the exact same seats as my car will have. It felt amazing just to sit in, and the shifter was godly.

Test drove my slightly-used matte green 4v BW and knew I had to have it / now it's in my garage and a keeper
I mean this in the nicest possible way... ahem...
POST SOME PICS OF YOUR GOD DAMN CAR!!! :)
I didn't really know that color existed before seeing it in a youtube video and it looks sooooo good. Apparently due to cost there a very few of them?

+1 on the shifter. I've been telling friends, "You know why all the magazines rave about the Tremec? Because it's *that* good."

I have a friend looking at a Mustang (Ford guy, family worked there). I told him don't bother with the standard GT. Get a special edition at some point with the Tremec.

I wonder the origins of the test drive? Test drive is like a casino, the odds are in favor of the house. The test drive engages the emotions which is a terrible place to dwell in the middle of a business transaction. It takes a lot of discipline to walk after you drove the car and imagined all the places you might go on a sunny Saturday. After hanging out in the GM sport sedan realm for the last 15 years, I'm confident with going in cold on my 5BW purchase. Not a single review mentions anything about objective shortcomings with the basic dynamics, interior comfort, or visibility. Even if they did, a 6M sedan with 668hp and rear drive overcomes a LOT

Yes the Cadillac driving experience was also at Road America IMSA race this year and you could do it more than once and got an awesome Cadillac racing hat. Only Road Atlanta is left this year and they did not have this last year that I saw.

I bought my 4BW without a test drive. I had seen enough positive reviews. If you a looking for a sport sedan with a manual transmission there is not much to choose from anyway.
