Hi all,
I'm currently considering the ats-v as a replacement for my daily driver and wondering if anyone knows how it handles in rain and snow?? (Currently driving a front heavy manual '05 mustang gt which is pain in winter. Grew up with rear wheel drive in WI, and really want a V6/8 manual replacement.) Have already had a test drive in ideal conditions.

Thanks!

With the right tires, the ATS V should do just fine.
The ATS V comes with high performance summer tires (Michelin Pilot Super Sport - I think). They are okay in the rain and pretty worthless in snow/ice.
If you need to drive in wintry conditions where white stuff and cold temperatures are encountered regularly, invest in a second set of wheels with all season tires installed.

I'm with Tuna. With winter tires on the car, it should do pretty well or at least better than does your Mustang.
