PSA Regarding Bayed / Shipping

Yes, mine arrive Feb 23rd (built January) at the Autoport....still no change in shipping status. Just bouncing between 4300-4B00-4D00-4B00. It might be a while.
 
How good are our internet sleuths here? A livecam stream of the area sure would provide some entertainment around here.

If the interest rate is relatively ridiculous like 5% or worse by the time the car arrives, I'll probably bow out and buy a car I can pay cash with. Or if we're lucky, GM will extend promotional APR's to Blackwings. Hah

I would look into credit unions before bailing; they normally have lower on interest rates when others are raising rates.

PenFed's been pretty consistently low, and looking at the local credit unions, their rates are similar. Their advantage though is they're local, and I can possibly grab the check ASAP as opposed to the 10-day mailing period for PenFed. Just depends on if I am able to know ahead of time the car is on its way, or if it's similar to what has happened to others where it just suddenly shows up.

I was able to get Navy Federal check that was good for 45 days and it was perfect timing. Maybe see if they can do the same and this way you'll lock in the rates.

IMO its when they dispatch the "order" to actually load it onto a truck and send it to the dealership
For example, this CT4 was built March 23rd..........

They are moving the regular CT4 and 5's just fine.....

it arrived at the dealership yesterday.....

This looks like a regular (non-Blackwing) CT4. I'm pretty sure they've been shipping at a faster rate from the factory than Blackwings, and seem to follow different logistics paths as well.
