Get rid of skip ship? How do you do it?

I want to know how to remove the skip shift feature. Have you done this on a gen 1 car? I hear it is tricky. Any help? Thanks

2004 CTS-V Sedan

I like the Caddy except for the skip shift feature. Any idea how to get rid of it?

Stuff with V

Lots of V stuff including 2 Vettes a Victory and a Vulcan. Not Mr. Spock. I love the Caddy except for the skip shift thing. Any idea how to remove on a 2004?

Back when the V1's were new, I bought a skip shift eliminator for mine. I just can't remember where I got it. The canon plugs on the V1 for the skip shift are different from the Vette and other GM cars. I'll look around and see if I can find the source of the eliminator that I bought and if they still sell them.
