5 bw auto. 1200 miles. Yesterday and today at low speed acceleration at around 30-33 when applying has the car felt like it got both stuck and gear and wouldn’t accelerate. When I switched to manual mode and switched gears, problem resolved. I noticed yesterday I was in 6th gear at 31
And today 4th at 32 and it happened.

Guessing because manual mode resolved it that it is a software issue.

Anyone else run across this?

You were in 6th when you switched to manual at 31mph? Need more info- like how is your engine/shift setting configured as I think it changes shift points. I'll have to check but I don't think my car will be in 6th at 31mph unless maybe I've been loafing along a long time?? (Surface speed limits here tend to be now lower than 35mph except in a neighborhood or school zone so I'll have to experiment a bit to see if I can replicate your experience.)

So I am just slow driving around LA. I noticed yesterday it was in 6th and today 4th. Today I put it in manual to see if it resolved and it did. When I put it back into auto, also no problem

What driving mode?

Can't say I have ever experienced anything like this. I have 1800 miles on my 5BW auto.

So you're saying that in both instances you pressed on the throttle and there was no response from engine or tranny? Even pressing all the way to the floor?
