Is this a good deal?

Looking at this used 2025 CT5 V Blackwing, dealer is asking $106,500 OTD (taxes and fees included) is this a good deal or should I just spend another 10k and get a brand new one? My bank recognizes a 2025 with less than 7500 miles as new so I can get a new car APR.

Hello fellow Ryan, don’t discount the trip to spring mountain in your calculus. It’s awesome. The deal isn’t horrible, but it’s not amazing either. Is it a perfect match for your option preferences, or do you have the car itch and want one right away?

2. Assuming this is CPO (and if it's not I'd say walk away), do your research and check every stitch of this deal...

• Have tire life/alignment triple checked
• Check extended warranty status
• Ask to see the CPO Inspection List
• Ask for a copy of the Service History (especially to ensure that 1,500 mile post-break in service was done)
• Ask for an Oil Analysis (especially for any shavings)
• Ask for a 3rd party Pre-Purchase Inspection
• Verify whether or not all the original equipment is present (brake cooling ducts, tow hook, air pump, fuel funnel etc.)
• Make sure both key fobs work
• Visually inspect the car in good lighting with a flashlight (interior/exterior/under hood on & off)
• Ask them only to use touchless or handwash before you pick it up (this will save you money on paint correction/ceramic/PPF)

Yes, this will come across as you asking a lot. But don't feel pressured into rushing a decision and moving on fear/scarcity trying to save $10K. The problems this could uncover would end up potentially costing you way more than $10K in the long run.

My vote is to go new. Get each detail exactly as you want.(don't forget the PDR) Get the full warranty time(could be 12-18 months of time expired off the 36 month bumper to bumper already) Get the Spring Mountain trip.(That's worth $3,500) $10K is not enough to give all this up!
