First Aid Kit?

Is this open slot in the trunk for a first aid kit?
I searched the manual and found a description for the air compressor above it, but not what that bit is for.

Who knows but it would have to be a small one..... I use to carry one many years ago but not anymore..

I think I put our owner's manual with vehicle registration in the spot. If I get pulled over, I'd rather the cop have access to my empty trunk than rooting around the cabin (hasn't happened but I know they can search whatever you give access to.)

Upper section of the left side (above the word THIS) is where I put mine. Of course, I'll forget I even have it if I ever need it.
