CT5-V (with adaptive cruise and super cruise) Monochrome Emblems?

I have been searching for a replacement badge for my CT5-V but everywhere says you can't change the Cadillac Emblems if the car has adaptive CC / Super Cruise. Has anyone tried or been able to do it?

Tried to go with non-adaptive cruise badging as a test....if you dont use adaptive cruise everything works, but as soon as you turn adaptive cruise on, it will shut off shortly thereafter.

Only recommendation is to have a shop wrap the adaptive cruise emblem. Its not hard to take off, just need correct pry tool and patience.
