CT4-V Boost Pressure

do our cars limit boost pressure for the first 3-5 minutes after startup? (assuming it is up to temps from recent driving)

I noticed a max boost pressure of 6psi while testing the green filters out yesterday. 5 minutes later and I was back up to the 11psi range.

I checked all the lines and hoses that tapout recommends on their spark plug page.

Resolved: engine oil needs to be over a specific temperature and it takes a couple of minutes (even if it’s already warm) after a power cycle

I'm always gentle during warmup which means it never sees more than 6 lbs of boost until the oil is close to temp. Probably overkill but who knows.
