Welcome to the Cadillac V-Series Forums!

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Full iron rotor replacement at 27k miles due to groove forming. Running costs adding up lol $$$ but cost of doing business.

Aftermarket CCB is available for the same price of OEM iron.

What I did today is I let my BW wet fart onto the garage floor when I started it to move it a couple of feet in the garage today.

It even left skid marks!

That is a lot of condensation...do you start and idle it frequently without driving it?

did you use extra felt pieces to cover up the visor labels? If yes -what source did you use?

How's the space in that backpack? I already have a nice Ogio backpack with tons of pockets and space but having a V series logo on one makes me really want to buy it when I'm there!
Fairly good space. I just liked the logos so I had to get it!

No, never, really, but on the other hand I have not been driving it that much lately due to travel and, before that, winter.
I was alarmed at first because I never noticed anything like this before even though I’ve owned this 24 and a 22 before it for a total of 4 years now, but after researching what happened I was reassured that it was “normal”.

Installed rear mudflaps I got from eBay. It was a complete set including the fronts but I didn't install them because I like the OEM minimalist ones in the front.

I had custom made Blackwing decals made to cover it.
Wow, very cool. What material those made from? Any info you can share on the source image, who made, etc.?

Me want😎

Full front PPF, 35 ceramic tints all around and 70 on the front, and ceramic coating (one base coat, one top coat, 7 year warranty)

Ready for the summer!

May I ask how much iron rotors + pads ran you? Install yourself or at dealer?

MSRP for a full OEM set is $3900.

Installation is supposedly extremely easy but I’m going to have the stealership do it this time for peace of mind. They said it would bill 4hr of labor.

Also to note: Front rotors are on back order so cars been sitting around for 2 weeks.

I really want to drive so I just ordered some Carbotech XP12 & 10 track pads to use in the meantime on the old but still in spec rotors until the fresh set of OEMs is all here. Will swap to them for track days in the future.
