PDR and SD Card

I was going to begin using the PDR in my 25 CT5 V Blackwing today but when I tried to slide the SD card into the slot it didn't want to go into the slot very straightly. In fact it could be cocked left or right. I centered it in the slot, but was reluctant in pressing it in for fear of not get it back out again. Am I just paranoid or is this the way the SD card is supposed to fit in the PDR slot?

You have to hit it with a big hammer. (just kidding). It shouldn't take any more than a slight push. Just make sure you have it facing the right way.

This guy shows inserting several cards into the PDR so you can see the proper orientation.

Just make sure the pins are down and the notch is on the right. You're correct it should smoothly slide in. Don't force it.

Make sure you're using a "full size" SD card, not the tiny micros that mobile devices use. If you have a micro you can use an adapter to make it full size. The gentleman in the above video uses adapters so you can see how those work if all you have is the tiny micro cards.

I almost forgot, don't full sized SD cards have a sliding lock? Could that be out of position causing the issue??

The sliding lock is recessed & shouldn't interfere with inserting the card.
