Hi All,
New to the forum, and new to Cadillacs in general (I usually tend to be more of a euro car guy), but I've put down a reserve on the CT4-V Blackwing, and I'm trying to option it out based on the info I've gathered from this thread. To that end, I'm trying to decide on trim/seating. While I would like to go all leather, I don't really feel like it's worth a $5,000 premium over the leatherette. Also, I've heard Cadillac's leather tends to be a bit more prone to tearing, as it is somewhat thin, so another mark for leatherette. However, I noticed that the "High Performance" bucket seats require jumping up to the leather/performance cloth option. Seeing as how leatherette comes with bucket seats, how much better are these high performance seats? I know better is a subjective term, but I can't even find pictures comparing the two, and any input on the matter is appreciated. I've already pretty much decided on the climate package by the way, so that won't really be a factor in this decision.
