This is a thread to post photos of your Blackwing in the snow. After the first snowstorm of the year here in the mid-Atlantic, I headed out to see if I could get my Blackwing stuck in a partly-plowed nearby parking lot. It turns out that I couldn't, and my all-season winter setup is performing well enough. If you are one of those unfortunate pearl-clutching old ladies who stores your Blackwing for the winter, a) I feel sorry for you, and b) this is not your thread.

I got to see the "ABS activated" notification for the first time going down the hill of my development. Would have been cool except that road "T"s into a four lane divided highway so a minor bit of pucker was experienced. But I was now FULLY awake for the rest of the drive into work.

Sorry.. Should have thought of this when I drove into work early this AM. My night ended just a bit ago taking my son home from winter baseball workout after his wrestling match. Here's my car warming up outside the baseball training facility tonight about 20 minutes from @Throat Yogurt.
My Vredestein square Winter set up had no problems in 21 degree weather with icy/snowy roads.

So ur pretty comfortable driving with snows in the 5BW? I always wondered if I got a square setup would it be good enough to drive around in MN.

Totally .. Only been stuck in my own driveway a couple times before I shoveled. The plow technique mentioned above did not work for me😃
This is my 4th winter with my 5bw as my daily closing in on 50k.
I feel comfortable driving in snowy weather no problem.

Why does this "baseball training facility" look exactly like a no-tell motel in Pennsauken? Why does it say pervert on the door? I have questions! 🤔

Yeah, please share the address, for investigational reasons only.

What is this "snow" you speak of.

Just another beautiful, cloudless, 80* day here in Arizona.

Impressive to even move in that much snow.

Having said that, TX drivers are awful in the best of weather. Fortunately I've only seen one day with significant snow in 12 yrs. 4 inches a couple years ago.

Impressed at the positive comments about Blackwings in snow.

Doesn't protect you from boneheads driving too fast.

We lived in the east mountains of Albuquerque for 10 yrs. Driving to work, guess what kind of car was frequently found in the ditches on the interstate? 4WD cars. 4X near zero traction is still basically 0.

There are definitely boneheads who drive too fast in the snow, but I'm not going to let them dictate how and when I drive my car. If someone is going to hit me, they are going to hit me. I have insurance, and there are more Blackwings out there. 👍

Just getting into the second snow season with the BW in Michigan. Michelin A/S stock sizes.
