Good Morning, I’m getting an alignment this morning and saw this red block in the front coil springs, should it be there ? Thanks

That should be there for transit while on a flatbed/trailer/etc. Not to be used while driving. Your selling dealer should have known to remove them during initial inspection.

Make sure you check all four springs, if they left it in one, they may have left it in the others. It is strange that they would not have taken them out when they did the pre-delivery inspection upon the vehicle's original delivery.

Was it shipped to you recently? That is the only time a customer might want us to put them back in. I always ask, because you are not supposed to drive it with the blocks in.

Many customers have them delivered to their home and they do not have the jack etc. to take them out. We always put them in the trunk to the side or under the flap in case the customer wants to use them in the future.

How does the ridde feel now that that one or more have been removed? It should definitely feel different.

They were just in the front springs, I brought it new early last year, drove it home from S. Florida, just over 7k on it now, they must have been in there since I got it. The ride doesn’t seem much different maybe a little softer ? Thanks for the info.

Yes, it should feel softer when cruising and you will have better handling as well, now that it can lower like it needs to with the springs and not handicap the Magnetic Ride Control. I am curious what you will think of the handling went you are driving it to the limit.
