I did the exact same thing. Bought one sight unseen and without a test drive. It was the Car and Driver article that sold me. And I haven't regretted the decision even once.

I had spent 8+ years hearing about the Alpha chassis magic and then read this review (The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Rocks) and was finally a working adult instead of a student.

Bought it over the phone and couldn't even drive a stick. Learned quick though!
