The Blackwing Spotting Thread

Just a reminder to @Bald Guy, who may or may not be a bot, that this is a Blackwing forum, and people generally don't give 2 shits about chump Vs. ;)
The regular V and the Blackwing are not even on the same planet...I see a lot of FB pages which combine regular Vs and BWs and I don't really want to read about regular Vs. Not trying to be a Blackwing elitist but these are totally different cars.

Exactly what a bot would say! 🤣

I'm not doubting what's in your garage, but this is a thread for photos of Blackwings. ;)
Lol. Quite honestly, sometimes you can't tell when it's a black Wing or a regular v or even a ct5 but maybe that's just my ignorance. On a stingray Corvette and on an e ray and on a z06, you can tell more easily. Wish I had better eyes or GM/Cadillac would do a better job at differentiating.

I'll admit to being fooled from the front and from a distance, but not once you see the exhaust tips are silver

It is tricky to tell. When I see another Cadillac sedan, I will assume it is a non-BW until proven otherwise, given the fact that plain or V CT-4&5s outnumber Blackwings by maybe 10:1? Maybe more?

If it sounds like a bitch, it ain't a Blackwing...

My eyes aren't so good so when I saw a gorgeous blue 5 V the other day I thought Blackwing...until I got close enough to see the AWD badge on the back....still very nice...

I've actually been recommending the AWD 5 V to someone interested in an AWD vehicle that can carry at least 4. He really wants AWD and doesn't want to pay Blackwing (or AUDI or BMW) money but wants something nicer than a Camry or such...

Friday night Aug 8 Somerville NJ cruise night I spotted a black CT5V BW while I was was in Wolfgang's steakhouse. I didn't bring mine out that evening as I was in my 68 Firebird convertible restomod parked right in front. I seen and spoke to gentleman in a white 120th anniversary edition there and at a couple of car events in the area but this black BW is a new player

That was me! I had a feeling it had to be you, I haven’t seen another ct4 bw with your spec in the area!
Oh, my spec is very exclusive. In fact maybe I'll start a private Facebook group! 😜

I was told there another IMSA Sebring CT4V Blackwing in Palo Alto. And I met @Sebring20 at a V-Club meet. Cadillacs alone (non Escalade) are rare enough around here that I perk up when I see any sedan. I'm sure I've confused some CT4 and CT5 sport drivers with my aggressive waves and smiles.

I better check my own badging to make sure I'm a true Black Wing in that case.

Roflmao... =D
I've got one of the 22's without the blackwing badges. No CF and a nice boring satin steel metallic color. I'm so under the radar that during parade laps for V's at Laguna Seca last year, I got grouped at the back of the line just in front of an XT4 :ROFLMAO:

If I debadge it completely, get silver exhaust tips and an UBER sticker I will surely have the ultimate sleeper
