Reverse tilt mirrors quirk

I’ve only had the car about a week, still in break in period but I’ve come across a quirk that I’m wondering if anyone else has seen.

I set my mirrors to tilt down in reverse, and this part works great. But about half the time after placing the vehicle back into D the mirrors don’t revert back to normal position and I have to manually raise them again. Has anyone had this happen?

One other thing, for passive door unlocking is the car supposed to still have you hit the handle button? I’m used to a Beemer where if fob is close the doors unlock and I can just open them, but this appears to still require the button to be pressed.

I just walk up and pull the handle to open my door. (Holding the inside "Button" for a second or 2) I think I set mine to open all the doors when I perform the above action, so my Passengers can access the vehicle.

This happens to me sometimes, I realized it's speed-related. If you drive away too quickly, the car stops automatically raising the mirrors beyond a certain speed (somewhere around 10mph). It lets you manually adjust them at higher speeds though, and they raise correctly if you pull away more slowly.

The button inside the handle must be pressed in order for the door to unlatch. Or perhaps you have a CT4, which has different handles?

It helps if you list the car that you own.

Also, sometimes my mirror tilt stops working. I have to change the settings (turn it off) drive a bit, change it back, and then it works again. Are we sure these aren't German cars? :boogie

I have a CT4 BW, so there’s a little button on the exterior portion of the handle. It’s just weird that that button would unlock the door regardless but if you set passive unlock in the settings it mentions proximity but doesn’t actually just unlock the doors without requiring a button press. You can hear an electronic/mechanical hum when you get close so it sounds like it’s going to unlock it just doesn’t without pushing the button.

Funny that I never had any weirdness with my BMW aside from it burning oil like nobodies business.
