I spend about twice as long cleaning the brake dust off my V's wheels as I do on the rest of the vehicle. I use Simple Green and a set of soft brushes and about every third time I use my power washer. Question is: Is there some way to limit the amount of brake dust, or an easier way to clean it? I've considered changing brake pads, but haven't gotten much advice about the right choices. Any suggestions? My V's 4 years old, with about 20K on it. Thanks

I've been wiping down my wheels with a "detail wax" and that seems to help.

Like you, I spray my wheels with Simple Green then wash with the soft brush.

After drying the car, I put detail wax on the car and wheels. My detail was of choice is C-Magic.

My Vette seems to have the same brakes and brake pads but doesn't dust nearly as bad. I'm assuming the extra weight of the V causes most of that.
