2022 CT5V Blackwing
I just bought a 2022 CT5V BW MT …. Has about 20k miles and certified used by Cadiliac. It has the carbon ceramic brakes. Within the first mile of driving I noticed a rubber burning smell (and honestly, it wasn’t the tires….yet). The smell has persisted and seems to be coming from the rear passenger wheel area. Stuck caliber? But no glowing rotors. Any thoughts on what this might be? Dealership can’t take it in till Friday and I’m….well, impatient. Thanks

Is the e brake not functioning properly?

The ebrake appears to turn on/off when commanded. No indicator lights or warning either.

One note that might help though… I just took delivery of the car today. After they took it off the trailer and while,I was inspecting it I noticed that the battery cover in the truck was off. Perhaps unrelated but i thought that odd and wondered if they pulled the battery connection while on the trailer and if that had something to do with a now malfunctioning ebrake.

It shouldn't, but it is a variable and should be mentioned to your dealer.
