PDR camera used as a front parking camera

Is it possible to use the PDR camera as a front-facing camera when parking? I can't think of a reason why GM would not have developed this feature given that it literally has a camera in the front.

As others noted, the angle is all wrong for parking. You won’t see anything different than you’re seeing from the driver seat.

Also, the system isn’t designed to view live as it has to process the data off the can bus, overlay it to the video, and then write it to the SD card. The file is locked for write while the PDR is running so you can’t read it from the display, and whatever it does display would be delayed from where the car actually is.

There’s a reason why the car has separate cameras for realtime viewing.
