Park Assist - No beeps nor bum?

Hello All. What is everyone experiencing as normal behavior for Park Assist warnings? In my case, there is a single beep or vibrate (depending on setting) for each threshold distance passed. Nothing more. The entire front graphic will be painted yellow/orange/red and there will be no continual warning sounds. Is this what everyone else is experiencing?

As reference, my SS would make a continuous beep (flat line) when something was closer than 12 inches.

*According to the manual, “When the object is very close to the vehicle, the beeps are continuous.”. Um, that never happens and haven’t been able to get it to happen.

Mine just vibrates the seat but no continual vibration. I much prefer this over my wife’s Mercedes which just beeps obnoxiously and constantly as you are pulling into and out of the garage. Once I know I’m close from the initial vibration I’m careful and use the camera and yellow/orange/red sensors. I think Cadillac nailed this feature.
