I was at a car show yesterday and I left all the windows down, since people always want to see the interior. Guys would come around and place a car show flyer on the seat and set my alarm off. A fellow BW owner told me to leave the keys in the car and the alarm won't go off. When you get back in the car, the dash will say that the key fob is in "sleep mode" and you need to move the fob to "wake" it up. Also, if the windows are down, you can press and hold the "lock" button on the fob and the windows will automatically go up. Its the little things in life that make us happy !

You can also just disable it from locking when you walk away, & still keep the fob with you. Press & hold the unlock button on the door until it chimes & it will disable the auto lock until you turn the car on next time.

Learned something again ! Wish I could only remember all of these widgets. Having 5 cars makes this a pain to remember. Every car is different.
My 1967 Cadillac is the easiest. Nothing to remember but having a key !

Or you can try disabling the intrusion sensor.
