How to Track Your Car by RailCar Number

As we look for ways to track our cars, I found this way to do it. Tried it and it worked.

As of 10:26am this morning ... on 8/12 at 9:59pm railcar left Nashville (CSX). I got the railcar number from the Cadillac advisor, then used the telephone directions from the Stingray Forum thread, posted here:

Hope it helps any of those on the East Coast (CSX) and I am sure there is one for the West Coast.

OK, so very similar to mine. I guess I can only hope my car is on the same train as well heading east, if anything. What was the last location that Cadillac gave you on the train?

So I connected with an online advisor about an hour ago to see if I could get a railcar number. The only info he had on hand said the car was in transit to New Boston facility. I mentioned the Jack Cooper site said it was already delivered there on Monday morning. His response was to check with my dealer, blah blah blah.

I can only be optimistic that it's on the same train as @sandstrs or some other train that is en route to the northeast

The train car # I have is ETTX711372. that is what I got from Cadillac Advisor and it does allow me to track a Car Train heading to Jupiter Florida ... where I guess it will get on a truck to my dealer in WPB.

In my chat session with the online advisor, I told him I was pretty sure I was on a train. All I got was outdated info and his punting me to my dealer who knows nothing other than the that the car was sent to New Boston.

The silence is deafening. Is it really too much to get an accurate answer on whether my car is on a lot, a train or a truck?
