For those that do, do you have a track alignment youn use? What about extra oil? Are the std. brake pads good for the novice group run. I track a C5 for about 20 years but I had it all set up for track day HPDEs. Just wondering what all I might need to do for a one day event .
Thanks

My track experience comes from my 6th gen SS 1LE Camaro, but a lot translates to the CT4.

I can attest that the brakes are plenty for the track.
Oil: 5w40 Supercar, I'd throw in an extra quart.
Brake Fluid: RBF660 or the Castrol high temp one (I can't recall the name at the moment)
Alignment: IDK, I'm hoping someone else will speak up.

If this is your first event with the car, focus on the line and shift points and safety, reading the flags, etc. You'll have a great time.

If you are running novice group, you are fine running the car as is. Just add some extra pressure in the front tires to prevent them rolling over (since there is not a lot of camber on the stock alignment). Once you get faster and start braking harder, then high temp fluid is necessary. Better pads are also a good idea once you really start getting into hard braking events from higher speeds.

Let us know what you think of the BW on track after you finish your first day.
