CT5-V Finally: CT5-V Blackwing Reproduction Spoilers

CT5-V Model
The factory parts have the foam gasket going around each hole in the trunk lid. If the part you're using doesn't do that, it might be a good idea to get some weatherstripping foam and make your own around each stud and the empty center hole. The aftermarket but visually identical spoiler from Tapout that I got for my 4BW had a gasket around the perimeter, but not around each hole. I got camper seal foam from the big box store that was similar density and thickness and stuck them around each stud and the center hole. I've had no leaks into the trunk. Some folks have complained about leaks, but I don't know what parts they used or how they installed them. I don't think you need to get exotic on it as far as sealing the holes any more than this. You can see my post here with photos of the original spoiler and the aftermarket one with the seals I made. Carbon fiber PN database.

Figured as much just wondering if others sealed the hole up with silicone or similar.
I would actually leave it open. we normally leave an extra hole in the bottom to allow the part to breathe and prevent condensation from building up inside.

Foam gaskets are included to prevent water intrusion

Will the gloss black finish on the wing match the factory black car color?
Yes. We are using a gloss black PPF. So it will look like any other gloss black part on the car. The angles here require a two piece application.

I'm asking if it will match the black raven paint on the car, not just the accent pieces but the color of the raven black on the entire car.
Not sure there brother. The parts will be a gloss black. if raven has any special color qualities, that will not be reflected in the spoiler.
