I'm still upset that I sold my MK6 before the VCDS came out for full traction control delete. That and it needed suspension + LSD.
Agreed on all points, I usually prefer smaller cars, and while the M2 is fantastic on paper, it just isn't killing me in the looks department, and a G80 M3 is $10-$15k more. I was really impressed with the Alpha platform in my 1LE and wanted more of it, plus it held up really well in an accident, that also swayed me. With the dynamics that GM has used in the CT4/5 it doesn't surprise me at all to see so much Euro crossover.
Nothing sounds like a Porsche, that's reason enough to get one. I will have a Cayman/Boxster one of these days.
