Add in the sueded wheel and shifter and you've got my build. TPW of 3/30, but chatbot says it was produced!

Does anyone know the time between the car being built and the time it arrives at the dealership? I've heard it can vary wildly. My 5BW is one of the ones in transit. The dealership just says it's saying delayed with no firm delivery date. Chatbot confirms it's built and a live agent said the same.

Didn't have this problem with my Escalade ESV-V. Found a dealer who's buyer fell through and it came in like a week later. BMW doesn't have this huge delay between production complete and delivery. Why does GM have such a big delay between the 2? They have horrible logistics?

I had a TPW of 3.16 and I was told the car was built on 3.20. Early this week they told me car would be delivered on 4.7. This has all been from my salesperson.

There isn't much point in comparing manufacturers. It is what is and can be quick or lengthy depending on what things might occur, like quality holds or transport issues. Recently, things have been reasonable and can be either side of 6 weeks by any amount of days. You just have to be patient and wait and not be tied to any predictions. This forum is filled with similar questions about delivery and they all come down to the same thing.

Chatbot told me yesterday that my car was produced. I confirmed with my salesperson. She sent me a picture of the status - 4800 - Bayed with an estimated time to deliver of 5/13. Hopefully delivery doesn't take that long. I think in this instance Bayed just means that it's waiting for delivery transport. Coming out of the pandemic, my first Blackwing had a status of 4B00 with the B meaning Bayed. That's when we had a chip shortage and they parked the cars until they could get all of the chips in them.

...so I zoomed in on the event code from the text my salesperson sent me. This may make more sense. It isn't 4800, it's 4B00 - Bayed.

Yeah my estimated delivery time is 4/1 but still shows delayed. Hoping just a matter of days.
