Correct valve position for Corsa installation…

Hello all, I have just installed a Corsa cat back system on my 2024 CTS5V 6 speed manual
and sure as shit i got the dam CEL
we followed every step made sure per Corsa the valves on the car were open, then we verified upon valve install they were open,
system was installed at a 30 plus year performance shop who does this stuff all the time, they made sure every clamp was correct, they made sure all joints were tight, they even started the car while on lift to make sure no leaks. Got 10 minutes down the road and pow CEL.
Spoke with Scott at Tapout, he is awesome to work with, and we started from scratch, went back to shop made sure all valves operate as they are designed, no binding nothing, they work fine, drove car again, changed the valves to tour mode etc. no issues they work and move as they should.
i pulled the 3 codes
P317F
P316E
P3173
All 3 are exhaust valve codes.
I am waiting on Corsa to get back to me, but my gut tells me they will need the relearn update through a scanner? and thoughts, I am not a car or scanner guy so this has me like UGH

A relearn is just a button push on a scanner menu. Nothing to fret about.

guys what scanner would i need, something that is not super costly as i probable will use it to fix this and that's it, but also want one that is not junk thanks

I've addressed

Give this thread a once over, I've addressed it a few times. Corsa Xtreme Exhaust issue
I have, maybe missing it, but what brand of scan tool is needed, don't want no $600.00 tool but a good one as well? thanks IS THIS A GOOD ONE? THANKS AGAIN

Any decent bi-directional OBD tool should be able to do it... I have several including a relatively cheap one (HERE) which will perform the relearn.

The relearn function resides within the ECM > Special Functions > Learn Function > Variable Exhaust Flow Control Valve > Learn

Thank you sir appreciate the help! again Thank you!

Ok after looking at this something is off when in race mode the driver’s side is wide open. The passenger side is 1/2 open at best
In silent the passenger side is closed and quit
Driver side is 7/8 closed and louder.
Any ideas.

Hello all
So working with corsa, and I loosened the passenger valve to make sure not bound up, then started the car
in race mode the driver side is wide open the left side is like 60% open, i can reach in and rotate it open very easily
then when i go to quit mode the driver side is like 90% closed but still loud vs Passenger which is tight closed and quit. It seems like there range of motion is out of sync.
they both move freely just not the same range of motion. Corsa feels this is not a Valve relearn anyone have this issue, then i tightened the valve back up and acted the same, so i believe there is no binding but just range of motion?

ok Today i did a car and coffee run, to meet people and see if anyone had a place here, they would recommend looking at the car, here in Myrtle beach we don't have places like Race Proven Motorsports or LMP
a guy with new Camaro did exhaust same issue basically, valves were out of sync, they did not open or close the same, he said unhook battery with valves wide open, make sure they are wide open, and open manually if you need to
then unhook batter for 10 minutes then see if they're learn. well, they did both open all the way, both seem to close all the way, driver side maybe a tad opens like 5%
started car, had to reset the windows etc. and valves work but light is still on. Now I am assuming if i drive it and it recycles a few times it may go off, if not may have to just to be safe do a re learn and erase codes. thoughts?
