Correct valve position for Corsa installation…

So as of today! Corsa sent me 2 new mufflers with new style valves? not sure what's different, I used a micrometer, and they are a little different not much? but cleared the codes, then unplugged Battey then swapped out the mufflers, then when i plugged the battery back in they cycled, scared the hell out of me! i could hear them cycle. then started the car, they cycled again on their own. drove it no CEL light, cycled the modes they work and so far, no light God i hope they stay the fuck off I would love to know what is different in muffler, Also a huge shout out to Scott at Tapout he was a huge help! plus you guys on here helping with Scanner etc. thanks!
You keep mentioning new valves, what exactly did they send you

They sent me brand new design muffler and new designed exhaust valves the ones that open and close. Not sure what’s different but problem solved

If I had to put my finger on what changed; I’d be willing to bet the weight rate of the springs in the mechanical valves were changed… I’m guessing the rest remained the same.

I’m just guessing based on all the telemetry readings I’ve seen and assisted with over the last several months. From a customer service perspective, it may just bit easier to ship two new mufflers with the corrected valves/springs then sending a customer springs and having them do the install… and if that goes wrong they’re right back where they started. It’s also prob cost prohibitive to RMA both mufflers back, provide a box and padding, ship back to Corsa, repair and ship back….

Send a couple new ones and call it a day. Just a thought.

Agree they are welded together
I asked them if they want the 2 old ones back. Nope toss um. I was like wtf they. Have 28 miles on them
I would agree on spring weight as one of the codes was flow control out of spec like they were not opening under exhaust pressure or something. No idea
But just drove it 65miles on highway no issues.
