Cadillac driving school

New to the site after my recent purchase of CT4-Blackwing. I know there has probably been discussions re the school and will do a search but.. What are the logistics of attending the school? I would be responding from the NY east coast area. Any recommendations re lodging prior to actual attendance days. Would assume a rental car is needed, with air travel currently iffy I guess it be prudent to arrive a day or two early. Any advice from those who have attended would be appreciated. Thanks

I stayed on the strip not far from the rental car area on the way out but did fly in one day before class before the flight cancellations hit the news. It was my first time flying in there and it takes some time to shuttle to the rental car area as its not right at the airport. Many hotel/casinos are connected so you can see quite a bit without driving around but yes you need the car to get to the track. Check the rates on the hotel calendars since they vary greatly depending on day of week or events in town.
