Started having this issue with my BW. At speed, it makes this weird grinding/scratching noise from the steering, only when I turn the wheel right.
Attached is a video of it. There is no noise at all if I'm not moving. I can spin the steering wheel freely and not have any issues at all. I brought it to a shop to have them take a look at, and so far as they can tell there's nothing hitting the steering shaft or anything, and the sound can only be replicated by driving it. Spinning the front tires on a lift there's no problem at all.

I then decided I would bring it to the dealer, and 4 hours later they deemed it to be a dusty brake caliper and suggested I start there. Took it home, and degreased and cleaned it...Needless to say the issue is still there. I have another appointment set up for Monday....

I do not what it is. But I certainly know that “dusty brake calipers” do not cause a noise when turning the steering wheel. The tech just threw a dart at the generic excuses dartboard hoping you would go away. Try to get a different tech when you go back.
