I was going to replace rear brakes after the track this weekend. I pulled the oem rear pads and noticed the pad doesn't maximize the area of the backing plate. I always thought you wanted the maximum amount of pad on the rotor. Just curious if anyone has an idea why there are the 2 cutouts on...

On the CT4 I can stick my hand in the air duct and pop it out from behind. There are 2 tabs on the bottom- use your fingers to push up on tab and press out.

Streets of Willow. First time on a real track with my own car. Track alignment, dot 4 brake fluid, stock ps4s. Fastest lap was 1:30. No issues with stock brakes. Friend was driving the porsche. I could catch him on the back straight but couldn't keep up in the corners. Any driving tips appreciated.
