Just need a hand pump - something like this:
Slippery Pete 5cc Hand Pump Transfers Gear Oil, Transmission and Differential Fluids From Quart Bottles (Not for Red Line Quarts) (1)

Then you just screw it on to the diff fluid bottle and pump it in. Takes a while to pump...
I locked in $4 a month for my blackwing and wife's new Pilot a few months ago (for 12 months). So with taxes and such it comes out to $10 per month for both cars.
I haven't used Star yet (I got my car from Fred Beans and they seem fine), but Star is a bit easier to get to so I may start using them. I'm in the Lansdale/Hatfield area so they are a quick run down 309.
I'm going to get Tapout to tune it through HP tuners. I guess it will be equivalent to their blue belt package except i have the intake instead of downpipes. I have the MPVI3 and will send my ECM and TCM out to get unlocked this winter when the car is stored away.
Mine is a toy I suppose. I work 100% from home (have been for the last 10 years) so I don't drive a lot regularly. And when I do go somewhere, my wife and 3 kids are usually coming so we take one of the other cars (2023 Honda Pilot or my beater 2008 Yukon Denali).
I changed my 4BW rear diff oil out tonight at just over 3k miles. I did it without jacking up the car (and I'm a big fat guy). Just needed to scoot under the back as far as i could go and stretch out my arm + use a 6in extension. Mine took about 1.5 quarts before it started dripping from the...
I saw (I believe) my first 4BW in the wild today in NJ under unfortunate circumstances. Any of you fine gentlemen happen to have been pulled over by NJ State Police on 76 right after the Walt Whitman bridge around 12:45 - 1PM?
Looked to be shadow metallic, but I was in the far lane and...
What all have you done so far? Looks like the throttle body in the time lapse at least. I'd be curious how it feels after the tune! We don't have too many reviews/first hand accounts of HP tuners yet.
I've done the throttle body and CF air intake/green filters, but will probably wait a...
Installed the Tapout/Gigs ported throttle body this morning. Took about 2 hours with me going slow and double checking everything.
I probably should have changed the plugs while I was in there since everything was off, but at least I know what to do and could get in there much quicker next...
This is awesome! Can we do it in stages - i.e. send in the ECM/TCM to get unlocked and buy the credits/tune at a later time?
A writeup would be good for pulling the ECM and TCM (I have no idea where the TCM is).
I wish it would rain soon, my grass is turning brown. Feels like its been 4 or 5 weeks (or longer) over my way.
I hosed off my beater a few days ago just to get some pollen off. Left a nice streak of yellow down my driveway.
Reviving an old thread, but just confirming for a CT4 BW, the correct rear diff fluid is 19418501?
I'll probably change mine in a few weeks when I have some time off work just to give me something to do.
