You mean the one with just three sizes?
Are you talking about the Michelin A/S 4 ZP run flats? Because I've never heard anything good about run-flats, no matter what brand...
You'd think that for a $100K+ vehicle Cadillac would have worked with Continental or Michelin to get at least ONE SET of all-season tires in OEM spec for the Blackwing, yes?
Instead, there is ...... nothing in A/S available for our cars.
There's "screwing the pooch", then there's GM... 😒
Uh, no. You're paying for the customer whose car has been there a year (cannibalized for parts for someone else's build) who has gone to court to sue them. Before the court date, they give the other person your money.... and so it goes, again again.
I can't believe: (1) they still advertise...
That is killer... almost like it was made for those tires. 😯
So, no rubbing whatsoever?!?
Are your fenders rolled?
Have you checked at the extreme yet (e.g. with two adults in the back seat, hitting a large depression at speed, etc.)?
No one has mentioned that CCBs have to get up in temp to brake properly – otherwise there is a risk of overshooting your mark when the brakes are cold.
Is that rumor, fact, or only applicable to older-designed CCBs?
Has anyone driven or ridden in a BW with the new Precision Pack option? Even a test mule, i.e. someone with a friend at GM, etc. would be good.
I am wondering if I should get this with my 2025 order. It basically makes the 5-BW a track car. My question is, what would it be like as a daily...
I configured both the way I wanted and they came within a few dollars of each other, so there is no discernible financial difference between the two of them.
Would any of you consider the M5 over the BW?

Not only looking for max tire (1) width, and (2) height, but also ideal offset/backspace.
Ideal meaning fit and max height/width with no rubbing at stock suspension height.
Anyone know of any wheel mfrs who have done this work?
I'm just a little perplexed that anyone is still committing to making an ICE – much less blown, and one of this caliber.
Not disappointed, mind you – just surprised.
I ordered a gray SS in October of 2016 (it's a 2017) and have been driving it ever since. I still love the car – it's my DD – but it's getting a little long in the tooth, especially technology-wise. Every once in a while my radio locks up and I have to wait until I start it again to reboot it...
I think for a driver's car the number of auto gears practically tops out at 8. The 10-speed may be more "efficient," but for an active driver it looks like it behaves more like a CVT than a multi-geared transmission. 😒
Still, it looks like that is what I will be getting. Maybe some...
