I do understand where the OP is coming from that’s why I bought the 5BW 6spd and that’s not fast enough but Tapout is helping with that.
For me once you’ve had 600+RWHP in a 3,200lb car everything else feels a little sluggish. Again like it’s been said first world problems.
Tapout, the build your doing next week is it a manual?
Also when you say “phase limiter plug” does that mean it has no phase limiter?
I’ve been speaking with Mike about this package just concerned about cam surge under 2,000 rpm’s on the highway
Thanks in advance
Even before the ported blower but more so now with the 2.3 pulley if I’m doing some 60-130 runs the temps climb and you can feel the cars down a little on power. Once it cools down a little it’s back but you can defiantly feel it. My C7 Z06 was the same way but worse. LMP offers a much larger...
Anyone running some of the cooling mods and notice any real difference? Just finished up 2.3 pulley and Kong X port from Tapout (great guys to work with). Thinking about CR modified bricks or maybe LMP expansion tank.
Come on son, this is a must have. The car pulls like a freight train on the big end. Gonna have to tune this thing and maybe some C&R bricks for lower IAT’s.
Again Tapout was great
Installed just drove down the street but the blower whine is amazing. Tapout said to be easy on it for approx 30 miles to let it learn.
Mike at Tapout was great to work with. Will report back with more seat time
Super excited spoke to Mike at Tapout super nice guy set me up with X port Kong blower, 2.3 pulls, brisk plugs and belt.
Gotta wait until late Nov for install but very excited.
Last night driving home service instrument cluster popped up. This is the 2nd time it’s happen. First time was about 1,500 miles ago, just cleared it but has anyone had this and if so taken it in to the dealer?
Thanks in advance
Feel your pain and these discussions have been had many times over. My point of view on this might not be the favorite but it’s another point of view.
I waited over a year for my car at MSRP, almost paid over when base price went up $7,000 in 23. When they raised base price $7,000 does that...
Sorry should’ve been more specific but the mention of bright red I thought would obviously mean I was talking about a CTS V, the manual was not an issue as it wasn’t available in that GEN.
Point I was making was considering a new 24 in bright red, while I was bored waiting for my current 23...
There were no coupes in 61 or 62, only convertibles with an optional hard top. The 63 model (C2 63-67) was the first year for a coupe. Obviously known as the split window as a 1 year body. While they were beautiful cars the 65-67’s were more enjoyable to drive with std disc brakes, rubber...
Ha ha people crack me up but to each their own. I’ve had people say similar “it’s just not a Corvette anymore”. I would ask how familiar are you with the history of Corvette? They’d say again similar to the guy you met “Well I’ve own X amount”, I’d say so you’re aware they’ve been pushing to...
Owning both cars at the moment they are obviously apples to orange comparison. Yes they are very close in HP and Z06 is much lighter but heavy for what it is. The difference in TQ is big and the manual in BW is way more fun to drive.
After owning a C7 Z06 the C8 is a much more refined car and...
Thanks guys, I have a set few favorite cars I look up nearly everyday to follow the market and did a new search for 24’s which show several in transit. Flirting with the idea of a bright red CT5 BW.
While waiting for my 23 to arrive I almost pulled the trigger on 2 different 19’s in bright...
